I got up close to the pots on the patio.
I love how the rain water has collected in the tulips.
I've decided that this year I'd like to get involved more. Maybe sow a few seeds, plant the potatoes, grow some sunflowers. I think I should seeing as I put in the hard graft last week with the digging.
There won't be any more gnomes appearing that's for sure.
Head on over for some more garden delights with Annie...

Your gnome looks shifty and those pots look promising!
ReplyDeleteSo many shoots coming through now - looking forward to seeing plenty of flowers :)
ReplyDeleteLots of new growth, exciting.... brilliant gnome :-)
ReplyDeletelove the shoots they make me feel happy especailly as i just saw that big yellow blob in the sky
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see the growth. I think one gnome is probably plenty! ;)
ReplyDeleteI quite like the gnome, but just the one! I really enjoy container gardening and have loads of pots-mostly because our soil is so heavy and clay based I can control the soil environment more with pots. I've grown my first daffodils in pits this year too.
ReplyDeleteI like the collection of pots and isn't it lovely to finally see some spring growth! x
ReplyDeleteLove that gnome! #HDYGG
ReplyDeletei love your collection of pots. and it looks so sunny and green!!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the signs of Spring, that gorgeous fresh greeness! I am waiting to see what comes up in our little garden as it is our first Spring here. Herbs to plant in pots are my first priority and getting used to a smaller garden then trying to make the most of it is next! x
ReplyDeleteThere's something great about a big collection of pots - so much growing potential! Mind you, I did find a rotten egg buried in one of ours, when I was digging up soil for planting....
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful tulip display you will have soon - one of my favourite flowers.
ReplyDeleteWow, what lovely photos! Visiting for the first time from #hdygg. Will come back again!
ReplyDeleteI love your terracotta pots - I am down to my last few so I think I will have to visit a few Boot Fairs this year in an attempt to replenish stocks.
ReplyDeleteLove terracotta pots - they even look good empty!. Love how the water has pooled in the tulips - like little cups of fairy wine *tries hard not to sound bonkers*
ReplyDeleteIt's been a lovely Sunday for weather -have you been out enjoying your garden?
Apologies for the delay in commenting, I got back today from Africa and have been looking forward to reading through these posts all the way home! As always - thanks for joining in :)
Cups of fairy wine is not at all bonkers! Went a bit further afield today in the sunshine then mum in law did some gardening :) Result!
ReplyDeleteLove the terracotta pots too - and tulips are going to look fantastic in a few weeks
ReplyDeleteMost of your pots look a good deal better than mine - and you actually have stuff growing in them - mine mostly seem to have weeds!
