Country Kids Lacock

So this is Spring?!

I saw some daffodils today bobbing their heads in the grey drizzle trying to spread some cheeriness. They need to try harder, seriously, this weather is getting me down! Today I have one vomiting child and housework to tackle. At least we got out last weekend.

We headed up the road for five minutes to Lacock to explore the grounds of the abbey.

We were on the hunt for Sprites and Dragons.

We weren't disappointed.

Alban decided to study some leaves up close whilst Edith found the rope swing...

The mirror ball wasn't so effective on a dull day though.

Roll on the summer and please, let it be a sunny one!

  4. Are the sprites and dragons all made of wire? They are very effective. Looks like a great place to have just up the road with plenty of interest for the kids. Thank you for linking up.

  6. Wow this place looks magical! I must make a note of it. The mirror ball looks pretty amazing even without the sun shinning.
Hope your little one feels better soon - the three of us in our household have been down with the stomach flu for the past 3 days - no

  9. What a marvellous place, although I have to say those statues freak me out slightly (I've probably been watching 'Blink' by Doctor Who a bit too much) despite being beautiful. I like that mirror ball!
