Tyntesfield ~ National Trust {Country Kids}

We popped into Tyntesfield, National Trust, on Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours before the sun went down on a beautiful Autumn day.
We last visited in February and since then, like many National Trust properties, Tyntesfield have developed their outdoor spaces with children in mind.
I love how the National Trust are investing in the next generation and encouraging young families and children to enjoy the great outdoors.

 Plenty of space on the old tennis courts and through the cow field to run and explore.

 Even within the more formal gardens fun can be had.

The den under the tree has always been popular with my two. Today they did a bit of furniture rearranging for the next visitors.

We were so excited to see the development of the play area next to the Pavilion Café. In addition to the old tractor was a fantastic trail developed from natural resources and upturned apple boxes. The kiddos loved this and it was so nice to see the boy's confidence and gross motor skills developing as he clambered around independently!

Find out more information about Tyntesfield on the National Trust website here.

I'll be linking up with the fantastic Country Kids...

    This looks like a wonderful day out. It's great that they're really making their properties more kid friendly, it really will help making them more interested in local history easier. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.

  4. We went here before but since we are not NT members we can only go to the shop and cafe! And now I know what it looks like inside. Thanks for sharing your trip! #countrykids

  5. That playzone is awesome, must take The Boy there soon as he'll think it's fabulous. The grounds of Tyntesfield are just as magnificent as the house, love it.

    Nipping over from Country Kids.

    I really miss the National Trust, haven't discovered an equivalent here and although the wild open spaces are stunning, areas that have been designed for children would be amazing! It looks stunning there and I love your photos. Looks like the kids had a brilliant time x #CountryKids
