Day 60
After a walk yesterday the kiddos just wanted to chill today so lazy Sunday it was. This involved loom bands - remember those?! - and Lego. The boy dug out Daddy's childhood Pirates and Castle sets and constructed a battle scene - right in the middle of the dining room floor, as they tend to do.
Day 61
Quiet time for me and play time with the camera. It was my final day of the 5 day B&W photo challenge and after publishing - which is here - I started playing around with picmonkey going a bit bokeh crazy for extra heart effect! I think I prefer the original.
Day 62
I always love the walk to school on a cold, sunny day. We talked about shadows and sunlight on the way. Days like these make me want to be able to take this picture everyday.
Day 63
Today was an outdoor session at work so walking boots were needed. The fresh air did me some good, although my back to work mood dipped later in the day when I selfishly took it out on the wrong people.
Day 64
Early night tonight with a magazine.
Day 65
It was a beautiful Spring day today which helped to lift the mood. The Iris outside on the piano caught my eye when I got in - so nice to be home in daylight.
Day 66
Today I went to Blog On Cymru where I caught up with some old blogger friends and also spent a fantastic hour with Capture by Lucy playing with her treasure trove of props.

  4. Love the Lego pic too. I would love to have gone to Blogon, but it wasn't possible as my son had a big day on. I've been enjoying the pics from that photography session.

It is nice to have the longer evenings, and great to get home in the daylight.
Love the iris, think they are a beautiful colour.
Oh dear at snapping at the wrong people at work, hope you have got that sorted out.
Loom bands - they are the things left lying round the floor to tangle round the vacuum cleaner brushes.
Nice Lego Castle, and well done daddy for holding onto it -what is wrong with the middle of the dining room floor????
