Day 165
A day late we lit the candles on hubby's 37th birthday cake.
Day 166
Happy mail in the form of my RMR 5k Sparkle Virtual Run medal! These keep my running going.
Day 167
Such a beautiful day today. Running was tough in the heat so I recuperated in the garden with a book and a cuppa. I spotted the Californian poppies amongst our wild flowers.
Day 168
Back to work Wednesday was followed up with the dreaded Wednesday night 30 day shred. That tired me out so I went to bed early with my latest library book, Before I Met You.
Day 169
Thursday night run and I followed it up with my usual ritual of walking down the garden barefoot - we have so many pretty flowers out now.
Day 170
Friday and a rare weekend away without the children! Tonight we dropped them off at a friend's house and headed off to Hackney - I loved this old car for a range of reasons!
Day 171
Today we just walked and walked through parks, markets and along the Regent's Canal which took us into Shoreditch where, despite the dodgy grammar, I spotted this rather lovely graffiti.

  1. That is a great bit of Shoreditch - I've walked past a few times but never spotted the graffiti - the tube carriages give away the location - can't believe I've never seen it!

How nice to get away with out the children and get a chance to walk and walk, and meet with friends. Happy Belated birthday to hubby. The flowers are beautiful, and I just never read anymore
