Project 365 2017 #18

Week 18 of Project 365 2017 and a running niggle threw me off stride a bit but isn't putting me off a new challenge!

Day 120
The boy joined me today for a run around the block - I'm hoping he'll love running as much as I do.
Day 121
Bank Holiday Monday got off to a running start with a solo run for me on my usual 10k round the villages then on returning home the boy and girl came out with me for a run around the block.
Day 122
Back to school for the children again and back to Tuesday running buddy day; today we met up at Lacock for a gentle 5 mile plod - mainly due to a niggling piriformis issue with me. I need to strengthen my glutes again!
Day 123
It's that time of year where we're starting to meet the new intake for school next year so today I was let out to go into town to visit a small nursery. Nearby was the town church.
Day 124
After work I took my girl out for a practice ride on her borrowed bike; she has a 10 mile bike ride coming up on a school trip and has never really got to grips with cycling so we're having some last minute lessons in the local car park. Luckily she has taken to it like a duck to water - so one less thing to stress about!
Day 125
Tired Friday and, snuggled up in bed, I looked over a possible marathon plan. 18 weeks of running commitment is a big ask but it's on my unofficial bucket list.
Day 126
A lovely morning of yoga teaching this morning was followed by a gentle 5 miles; the leg felt better but not 100% so must keep up the extra stretching and strength exercises. It was also the second run out for my new Nikes - I'm hoping new shoes will help!
