A good day

Today was cold with bright sunshine. A perfect weather combination.

An ideal day to get out for a stomp around one of favourite places locally. (Yes, I know, this is the third time I've posted about it.)

Morning swimming lessons done, soup warmed up and decanted into a flask, picnic packed, Earl Grey in my travel mug and we were good to go.

By the way, we went to Stourhead.

Again.

Because it is just so damn lovely there.

  1. Those pictures are just lovely! We've been planning a visit to Stourhead - didn't realise it was open for 2013! Thanks for the nudge!

  2. I understand. We spend 3 out of every 4 outings at the Jerusalem Zoo because it's the best place to be on a sunny day.

  10. There is something familiar and peaceful about returning to somewhere you know you are going to enjoy and a sense of excitement about what you know you will enjoy. We are the same with our favorite places. I think your photos get better each time you go and I can feel your love for the place. Clearly a great day out with the kids and one to be recommended! Thank you for linking up.
