Over at The Gallery Tara has asked us to think about shoes. Now my shoe cupboard is just organised chaos and unfortunately does not possess a pair of gorgeous, spanking designer shoes that I would love to exhibit in this week's Gallery.
So I thought about the memories that some shoes hold for me.
My Wedding Shoes
Not designer but I love them for obvious reasons.
My daughter's first shoes
My son's first shoes
A bum shuffler, so proper shoes were not needed at first. He had these so he could shuffle around the garden without getting his socks filthy!
What shoes would you put in The Gallery?
such pretty wedding shoes! Mine are packed away, in a box in storage with the rest of my wedding pretties. I haven't seen them since we moved...
ReplyDeleteand I will say, I did keep my kids first shoes...and a few first outfits that they had pictures taken in.
Oh, I love shoes....
Love your wedding shoes, they are very pretty!! They don't beat your little girls purple shoes though :)
ReplyDeleteAh! What a brilliant idea - my son is a bum shuffler, his socks (when he deigns to keep them on) are forever filthy but crocs are an inspirational idea. Thank you I will be borrowing it!
ReplyDeleteOoooh those wedding shoes are so SO pretty. I almost got mine out for this too - great minds ;)
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing the shoes and the memories. Wedding shoes are always lovely to see
ReplyDeleteWhy don't they do little girl's shoes for grown ups? I want a purple pair *pouts*
ReplyDeleteNice wedding shoes too :) x
Little girls shoes are so much more interesting aren't they? Although I am a crocs convert (hated them before I had children!) x
ReplyDeleteYour wedding shoes are lovely. My daughter has crocs too for running out to the trampoline.
ReplyDeleteI've awarded you The Versatile Blogger Award. To collect it pop over to my blog. http://1978rebecca.blogspot.com/2011/09/versatile-blogger-award.html
what great stories with each pic
ReplyDeleteYour wedding shoes are so clean!! I have worn mine a few times since my wedding day. They used to be a champagne colour and are now more a quadruple shot flat coffee look. Aussie marque weddings!!
ReplyDeleteYour shoes are gorgeous, and love the little shoes too.
P.S. Nice page facelift. Want to do the same to mine. Any suggestions?
I wanted to thank you for commenting on my blog but having some trouble with my comments! So I thought I'd just come tell you here! Love the wedding shoes, by the way! :)
