Project 365 #11
Day 67
In my absence yesterday, when I was learning new photography skills at Blog on Cymru, the husband and kiddos carried on with their development of the end of the garden. Today I saw that they had tested the fire pit and chopped wood creating some seats for us. I envisage us all down there by the fire enjoying hot evenings this Summer!
Day 68
Today I made myself get the yoga mat out and find my favourite sessions on YouTube. I am so glad I did as my hips and legs - and my mind - needed a good workout.
Day 69
I am trying to embrace Tuesdays more and not let the cloud of forthcoming work days interrupt my time. Today the sun was shining and the bread bin needed topping up so after the school run I took a power walk to town to buy some bread. On my return as I walked through the underpass, not the most pleasant spot in town, I noticed the sun shining through towards me bouncing off the graffiti on the walls. It put a spring in my step!
Day 70
Back to work day made easier by a pile of goodies in the staff room. I also started joining with Embrace Happy too and am trying harder to be more positive on Wednesdays!
Day 71
A lovely day at work where we invited mums - and honorary mums - in for an early Mother's Day celebration. The tedious part of the job never stops though so a pile of books went home with me tonight.
Day 72
Leftover daffodils from work yesterday once every child had taken one home for mum.
Day 73
The husband has flipped his work days this weekend so I get my Mother's Day tomorrow. I had a lovely walk to town with the kiddos then back home to read the paper and drink my new Cherry Bakewell green tea.
not heard of that green tea, but love bakewell tart.
ReplyDeleteThe Summer wont be long until you can sit in the garden and enjoy each others company.
A lot of graffiti can be very well done, and I love how you have seen the beauty in it with the sun shining on it.
The daffodils are coming out up here now, may need to get some in the house.
I do love the colours in the grafitti and daffodils just make everything feel so much better don't they #365
ReplyDeleteLove the wood chopping photo, bet the fire pit is lovely on summer evenings. Daffodils are gorgeous, the bright colour makes everyone smile I think! #365
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the way you stage, compose and filter your photos. Daffodils always make me smile and I love that graffiti shot x
ReplyDeleteThe chopping wood photo is great and that photo of all the sweets - very retro! I love it :) I so wish we had chatted last week x
ReplyDeleteLovely pics as ever. The underpass photo is particularly cool. I've never thought of doing workouts with YouTube before. I've always fancied giving yoga ago, but thought I would need to join a class.
ReplyDeletemmmm sweets!! I love looking at graffiti, some really great art to be seen sometimes x
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. I'd not thought of doing yoga on YouTube before. I tend to do my own routines at home and then go to classes.
ReplyDeleteglad that you have been embracing happy - something i have tried to do too.
ReplyDeletei really like the first photo and seeing what your family had got up to while you were absent for the day. that is a lot of books to take home :( xx
I am now craving chocolate - can't think why!! I need to start Yoga, just cannot find the motivation
ReplyDeleteVery arty photos, glad you're trying to embrace happy. Beautiful daffodils. The graffiti image is striking.
ReplyDeleteI daren't let my hubby see your first photo. He's always collecting, chopping, stacking, storing and burning wood. I'm beginning to think he needs help for when we don't need to light the wood burner anymore.
ReplyDeleteGreat spring photos... the learning new photography skills sounds really interesting too.
Enjoy your Mothering Sunday ;D
Beautiful photos. I want chocolate now LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers would certainly make me happy.

Lovely colours in your pictures this week - Spring is definitely in the air...
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and I can see you using some of the tips from Blog On Cymru in your photography. Lucy will be proud! lol
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures :-) the spring flowers are beautiful. I also find that after a work out my mind is in a much better place x #project365
