365 #5 {Back on it...}

In spite of the rain and the wind and the altogether crap weather I've tried hard this week to get back on top of everything.
Running was back on the agenda - although it took the inevitable dip at the end of the week when I'm working. I must work on that.
All in all though, it's been a good one.

Day 26
Lazy Sunday so cookie baking was in order. I say lazy but I ran today and I'm still giving myself treats as a girl needs energy boosts while pounding the pavements.
Day 27
Loving my Mondays. It's my day to myself where I don't think about work. Today I relaxed, ran and had an early night with Hostages on playback.
Day 28
So fed up with the grey clouds and rain on every school run.
Day 29
An off day today. Had a crazy sugar rush after hitting the garage sweet section like an 8 year old with pocket money to spend.
Day 30
Agnes the chicken has been going a bit crazy since we relocated the chicken run. She's done a Houdini twice and we have yet to work out how she's escaping. The worry is once she's out she can't get back in so on my return from work I had to survey the garden, in the dark, for any rogue chickens.
Day 31
Today we had two Agnes eggs after about three eggless months! We are now hoping her crazy antics might stop.
Day 32
A beautiful morning. Then it poured down just before my run. Then it brightened up for a bit just in time for me to take a snap mid route. Oh, I smashed the five mile mark today! And Agnes escaped again.

Well done on smashing the five mile mark! I eat loads of sweet stuff too (chocolate) - I tell myself I need to replenish that energy I'm burning off :)

Glad to hear you are back on track with your running. I am so up and down with my exercise regime! i think everyone is fed up with the weather now. We have been stuck inside anyway with the chicken pox.

  3. Ugh. We've had the pox but bugs aplenty still going around! Thanks x

  4. I do calorie counting but obviously need to up it when running. It's getting the balance right although cookies may not be the best way! :)

Amazing going with your running! Last year we had a hen that kept escaping, took us ages to work out how she did it, very clever those chicks!

  13. oh we've had odd amounts of eggs the last few weeks, I'm pretty sure it's down to this crazy weather affecting the girls x

  14. Ha ha that made me laugh about the sweets, I am exactly the same and I love all of those old school type sweets too. Cookie dough looks yummy and yay to the eggs, that is great even if your chicken does like to play hide and seek.

Love the antics of Agnes, hope there are no predators to eat her. My ambition is for chickens this spring but doubt it will happen. Black jacks were my all time favourites, I use to buy 4 on the way to school with my half penny, just think how many you would get in a 10p mix up!!

  16. I love the sunflare photo at the bottom! I don't think I could cope with having chickens, eggs make me squeamish!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
