Day 242
The boy was brave and went to his first ever rugby training session in town today. He has three weeks to decide whether to commit but judging from his smiley face when he came home I now foresee myself as a Sunday morning rugby mum.
Day 243
A lazy Bank Holiday Monday with the kiddos at home whilst the husband went to work. I made a rather tasty apple and raspberry crumble with the latter fruit from the father in law's allotment.
Day 244
Training day at work today. Walking up to my room I saw a very happy bumble bee on the droopy sunflower.
Day 245
First day back with the children and I have decided to throw myself into 30 days of yoga to help relax every night. Tonight I lit a candle and incense stick and totally zoned out. Bliss.
Day 246
Back into the routine of observations and photos of learning. I brought them home forgetting to cut them all at work first so it was old fashioned scissors at the ready.
Day 247
Friday means I get home earlier and collect the kiddos from after school club. Making the most of the light evenings I wandered down the garden and noticed all the poppy heads had gone to seed.
Day 248
An early start wasn't actually needed as swimming lessons start next Saturday, not today! I went to Asda instead then chilled with the Saturday paper before making some firm training plans for next year's Bath Half Marathon - which I signed up for last Saturday night fuelled by Prosecco!
